Turntables are available in both HO and N scale, and in various diameters. These kits are designed to operate with great reliability. We began manufacturing these turntable kits after our own frustration in finding a reliable turntable that we could actually drive a locomotive onto, turn and drive off. All parts are milled to the highest standard for a perfect fit. The all metal pit rail is pre-curled and ready for installation. High performance sealed wheel bearings are used on the trucks and a sintered oil-impregnated bronze bushing is used for the center shaft. These provide excellent reliability and operation.

A roundhouse kit is available separately and is designed to be compatible with all of our HO scale turntables. Two motor options for the turntables and a motor mounting kit are sold separately.

We offer a manually controlled slow motion geared motor by CMR and a very sophisticated indexing motor from New York Railway Supply. The NYRS motor can index up to 99 tracks and comes with a keypad selector. For more information on this motors you may visit their web sites at www.nyrs.com.

If you choose to use the CMR Motor Kit, then you will also need to purchase the CMR Motor Mounting Kit. This allows you to mount the motor directly to the bottom of the turntable pit.

The NYRS motor mounts directly to the bottom of our turntable kit without any further mounting brackets needed.

The turntable pit has a 3/16" thick lip on all models. The HO scale turntables have a 1/4" shaft. The N scale turntables have a 1/8" shaft.
