This HO scale model was partially built by CMR and finished by the client. This allows the client to do what he enjoys while we do the rest. CMR built the benchwork, track and wiring; the scenery and structures were then completed by the client over the course of about five years. Almost all of the structures are scratch-built.

The layout is based upon logging operations in the Virginia Tidewater area in the early 1920's. The client's first-hand knowledge of this area brought all of the scenes together in a well-organized and very believable manner.
